Samaritan Health Services in Oregon has an opportunity for a Gynecology Oncologist APP
Samaritan Health Services, a non-profit integrated health care delivery system, is seeking a full time Gynecology Oncology APP to join our team in Corvallis, OR. This APP will provide care for intra and postoperative patients which will include rounding on the gynecological oncology patients that are inpatient. The APP will also perform pre and post operative visits in clinic and perform gynecologic assessments. Duties will include managing patients’ chemotherapy regimens, side effect management, and provide guidance to ambulatory infusion clinics.

Job Specifics
- Work 4 10-hour shifts a week, 3 days in clinic, one surgical assist day.
- 8 – 10 patients a day in clinic, 4 – 10 patients during surgical day.
- Typical cases/patients: Gyn Onc patients (ovarian, endometrial, cervical)
- Procedures: pelvic exams, pap smears, biopsies, colposcopies
- Working with 2 surgeons and MA support
- Clinical Expectations: gynecologic assessments, manage chemotherapy regimens and side effects, counseling and education of diagnosis, treatment plans and surveillance
- Hospital-employed position
Job Requirements
- Certified NP or PA license
- Surgical First Assist experience. Prefer Gyn Onc experience or surgical experience
- Should possess excellent clinical skills, communication skills, and a strong commitment to providing excellent care that is team oriented.
- Eligibility to work in the United States
