The Opportunity:

The FHP OB/GYN clinic is fully equipped to provide obstetric and gynecologic care in the ambulatory setting. As a valued member of our team you will join us in our commitment to women's health with a strong focus on prevention and screening of women's health conditions. Acute and long term management of women's health related conditions to the residents of Fairbanks and surrounding communities.

Summer activities: Midnight sun, hiking, fishing, camping, gold panning, kayaking, berry picking, community-wide festivals, and events.

Winter activities: Northern lights, skiing, snowshoeing, snowmobiling, hockey, curling, ice fishing, dog mushing, hunting, ice art, etc.

Qualifications

MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS

Must be approved to practice by the State Joint Board on the Regulation of Physician's Assistants. NCCPA certification required. Exhibits an exemplary professional demeanor and interpersonal relationship skills.

Demonstrates proficiency in computer applications and database management. Must have sufficient experience, confidence, and judgment to function with little outside direction. Ability to maintain CME currency as required to maintain NCCPA certification. Requires personal DEA license.

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS

Advanced degree preferred. Experience in clinical setting including supervision is preferred. ACLS, PALS, ATLS, and/or Neonatal Resuscitation certifications desirable.
