Penn State Health Hampden Medical Center brings acute inpatient medical services to communities in Cumberland, Perry, and York counties. The facility features 108 private inpatient beds and an attached outpatient medical office building.
JOB SUMMARY:
The Inpatient Nurse for Women's Health will assess patient health problems and needs, develop and implement nursing care plans, and maintain triage for Labor & Delivery, OR, Antepartum, and Special Care Nursery areas.
MINIMUM QUALIFICATION(S):
Associate's Degree in Nursing Required.
Graduate from an accredited school of nursing
Currently licensed to practice as a registered nurse by State of employment
Basic Life Support (BLS) obtained within 6 months of start date
PREFERRED QUALIFICATION(S):
Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS)
At least 6 months of Women's Health nursing experience preferred in Labor & Delivery, Special Care Nursery, and Antepartum, preferred
