Baystate Health, western Massachusetts’ premier healthcare provider and home to the University of Massachusetts Chan Medical School – Baystate, is seeking an Obstetrician/Gynecologist to join our organization.

Position Highlights –

• Join our outstanding team of physicians, advance practitioners and support staff providing ob/gyn care at Baystate Medical Center (BMC) in Springfield MA. Our team provides full scope Ob/Gyn services and has a strong commitment to caring for a diverse patient population, including a sizeable underprivileged, and inner-city population.
• The department has approximately 4,200 deliveries annually with a high proportion of high-risk pregnancies and a level III NICU. Strong subspecialty support available.
• We provide outpatient services at 5 local offices, as well as emergent and routine care at BMC.
• Responsibilities include providing clinical supervision of the ob/gyn triage unit which is staffed 24/7 by experienced Certified Nurse Midwives. Perform minimally invasive and open gynecologic surgery in our ambulatory and inpatient operating rooms.
• Practice in an academic environment alongside our 24 Ob/Gyn residents, medical students and advanced practice providers. Enjoy a faculty appointment to UMass Chan Medical School-Baystate.
