Tenet Healthcare’s FCPP in picturesque Central Coast California, is seeking a full-time Gynecologic Oncologist to join the Division of Gynecologic Oncology in the Department of Obstetrics and Gynecology at Sierra Vista Regional Medical Center, located in San Luis Obispo.
The ideal candidate is board-eligible or board certified, has completed a gynecologic oncology fellowship, and has a primary interest of growing his/her surgical practice alongside a robotically-focused gynecologic oncologist with over 25 years of experience. Surgical block time is available with access to a DaVinci Xi robotic system. The goal is to expand robotic surgery at the center for gynecologic oncology, complex gynecologic surgery and other specialties, including urology and general surgery. The current surgery-only practice is supported by a physician assistant, office manager, and medical assistants. The applicant should have a commitment to teaching and working with residents via a developing affiliation with a local fully accredited Ob-Gyn residency program.
San Luis Obispo has a robust oncology community with excellent support from medical oncology, radiation oncology, radiology, pathology, and interventional radiology. Clinical research affiliations are being developed.
Compensation:
$430,353 - $624,112. Wages are determined based upon a number of factors including, but not limited to, an employee’s qualifications, experience and personal productivity.

Candidate Requirements:
MD or DO
BE/BC with the American Board of Obstetrics and Gynecology with subspecialty certification/eligibility in Gynecologic Oncology
Fellowship trained in Gynecologic Oncology
Eligible to obtain licensure in the State of California
