Kootenai Health is searching for a caring, dynamic and professional Executive Director of Surgical, Women and Children's Services to join our team!

As the Executive Director of Surgical, Women and Children's Services your core responsibilities include:

• Developing business and program plans, preparing financial presentations, analysis and budgets, identifying potential issues and opportunities within the service line and its related programs
• Provide leadership by building consensus and managing successful programs that are customer focused, supports growth initiatives and improves care delivery
• Work with other leaders in the organization in either a direct or matrix relationship in both the inpatient and ambulatory care settings
• Oversee the contract provisions for anesthesia services across KH
• Accountable for quality outcomes, standards of patient care, performance improvement, process management, surgeon satisfaction, business operations, resource utilization, and management development

To be successful in this role, you will need:

• Masters degree and either a BSN OR MSN in nursing - required
• State of Idaho Registered Nurse or licensure pending as documented by temporary licensure OR current RN licensure from a state participating in the "multistate privilege to practice" compact with Idaho - required
• Specialty certification required within first year of employment
• Broad understanding of hospital operations and the related functions of administration, as well as knowledge and experience in both hospital and ambulatory (ASC) based surgical environments
• Proven track record in managing surgery in a multi-site complex community-based organization.
• Demonstrated business acumen and management skills associated with budgeting, scheduling and planning and control
• Knowledge of regulatory and accreditation requirements
• BLS Required.  Current AHA Healthcare provider, American Red Cross or KH BLS within General Orientation
• ACLS preferred
