Your day.

As a Physician in Medical Oncology youâ™ll work with 3 other Physicians to provide top-notch care and patient experience. Throughout the day youâ™ll collaborate with three Advanced Practice Providers, Nurse Navigators, MAs, strategic leadership support, Pharmacists, Social Workers and Chaplains.

You would practice at St. Maryâ™s Hospital in Grand Junction, CO
Your clinic hours will be 8 am â“ 5 pm four days a week with one admin day
Youâ™ll be on call one in four weeks

In this line of work every day is different, thatâ™s why youâ™ll need to know how to:

Provide and manage direct patient care in clinic, including physical examinations, evaluations, assessments, diagnosis and treatment
Manage the inpatient service while on call one in four weeks
Prescribe pharmaceuticals, other medications, and treatment regimens 

Your experience.

We hire people, not words on paper. But we also expect excellence, which is why we require:

MD or DO degree from a fully accredited medical or osteopathic school of medicine

Board certification or eligibility in Hematology/Oncology

Active, unobstructed Colorado medical license, or the ability to obtain one
Ability to successfully complete St. Maryâ™s credentialing process
