Atlantic Health System is currently seeking a physician to lead the Department of Obstetrics and Gynecology at Morristown Medical Center. The Chair of Ob/Gyn will provide clinical and administrative leadership to a team of +100 attendings as well as an Ob/Gyn residency program (16 trainees) and fellowship program in urogynecology.

• +5000 deliveries each year
• Ranked one of 30 best hospitals in the nation for Gynecology (US News & World Report)
• 34-bed Level III Neonatal Intensive Care Unit a designated a Regional Perinatal Center by the New Jersey Department of Health

The Chair is responsible for all aspects of the Department across all divisions, including growth, quality, management of perioperative services, education, and research. The role includes an expectation to remain clinically active (40%) and maintain a high level of clinical credibility with the Department.

• Strong clinical leadership with experience driving improvements in quality and safety a recent clinical experience with obstetrics is ideal, but not required
• Track record of progressive physician leadership roles a ideally as Division Chief or Vice-Chair of Department
• Experience within an academic setting is desirable
• Comfort level managing a combination of employed and voluntary staff
• Board-certification and eligible for licensure in the state of New Jersey
