The Gynecologic Oncology Division in the Department of Obstetrics and Gynecology at Stanford University seeks outstanding applicants for a full-time position at the rank of Assistant or Associate Professor in the Clinician Educator Academic Line. The candidate must have fellowship training in Gynecologic Oncology and be board-certified or board-eligible by the American Board of Obstetrics and Gynecology. This position will be primarily at Stanford’s ValleyCare Hospital in Pleasanton, located in Northern California’s thriving East Bay, 40 miles from San Francisco. The current partner at this site is an experienced Gynecologic Oncologist with over 10 years of practice experience.
The duties for this position include providing outstanding clinical care and teaching in the Gynecologic Oncology Program at Stanford ValleyCare Hospital in Pleasanton, California. In addition, our recent expansion to other off-campus sites provides an excellent opportunity for interested candidates to spearhead the development of an extensive gynecologic oncology care program in the Emeryville and Oakland area, located across the Bay Bridge within 10 miles from San Francisco.
We seek a candidate who is hard working, enthusiastic about patient care and interested in blended community and academic medicine. We expect the candidate to participate in our clinical trial activities, and will provide opportunities for clinical and translational research. We have established a network of collaborations with outstanding scientists at Stanford University with a wide variety of expertise, including immunology, novel imaging techniques, bioinformatics and stem cell biology.
