The Department of Obstetrics and Gynecology at the Medical College of Georgia at Augusta University and Georgia Cancer Center is seeking a fellowship trained Gynecologic Oncologist committed to an academic career in Gynecologic Oncology at the Assistant or Associate Professor level. Our division includes three gynecologic oncologists, with a fourth starting in September 2021, along with additional advanced practitioners, and an ACGME-approved gynecologic oncology fellowship. We have a robust clinical trials program, including phase I studies, and are one of the top sites for NRG patient accrual. We have a large catchment area in Georgia and South Carolina and diverse patient population, allowing us to be one of 12 national sites with a Minority NCORP grant due to our high minority participation in clinical trials. We have a dedicated gynecologic radiation oncologist, and close working relationships with medical oncologists, uro-oncologists, genetic counselors, and surgical oncologists, as well as translational research labs.
The Gynecologic Oncology Division has a long track record of excellence in patient care and promotes an environment for professional mentorship and career development. The practice is active both clinically and academically, with a very busy surgical schedule and an emphasis on educational commitment and scholarship.

Qualified candidates must have a terminal degree (MD or DO), successfully completed a 4-year ACGME-accredited obstetrics and gynecology residency program, and completion of a gynecologic oncology Fellowship and be Board Eligible or Board Certified in obstetrics and gynecology. Licensure by the Georgia Composite Medical Board will be required prior to commencement of employment.
