The Department of Obstetrics and Gynecology at Oregon Health & Science University (OHSU) in Portland, Oregon seeks a full-time faculty member to join the Division of Gynecologic Oncology. Applicants must be an MD eligible for licensure in Oregon and must have completed training in an approved Gynecologic Oncology Fellowship Program. The successful applicant will possess independent surgical experience necessary to practice a broad range of surgeries independently, and to provide instruction to learners. Successful applicants will have the potential for academic accomplishment.
Clinical responsibilities will include providing outstanding clinical gynecologic oncology care to patients of the University Hospital and Clinics and affiliated hospitals and clinics.
OHSU and the Knight Cancer Institute offer a wide range of opportunities to support research in basic and clinical science relevant to gynecological oncology, in clinical care and in teaching. Scholarly activity is expected.
This position includes participation in teaching and training of medical students, residents and eventually fellows in accordance with the teaching mission of OHSU and the Department of Obstetrics and Gynecology.
