The DeCesaris Cancer Institute of Luminis Health is seeking a dynamic and innovative Director of Gynecologic Oncology to lead a multi-disciplinary program of professionals dedicated to the care of the Gynecologic Oncology patients through the care continuum. Luminis Health is a 3-hospital system, with the Gynecologic Oncology service based at Anne Arundel Medical Center in Annapolis, Maryland.
As the Medical Director for Gynecology Oncology, you will provide physician leadership, financial stewardship, quality care to the delivery, market expansion, community outreach, and workforce engagement.
Key Points:
Contribute to the almost 3,000 gynecologic surgical procedures per year, with access to minimally invasive including robotic surgical teams, surgical intensivists, surgical oncology consultation as needed and ambulatory infusion center
A strong referral base of approximately 100 physicians, midwives, advanced practice providers and oncology specialists
The Director reports to the Chair of Women’s and Children’s Services, serves on the DeCesaris Cancer Institute Advisory Board and Directs the Gynecologic Oncology multi-disciplinary Tumor Board
