The James H. Quillen VA Medical Center PGY1 Pharmacy Residency program builds on Doctor of Pharmacy education and outcomes to contribute to the development of clinical pharmacists responsible for medication-related care of patients with a wide range of conditions, eligible for board certification, and eligible for postgraduate year two pharmacy residency training.

Teaching and Learning Certificate
The resident will participate in patient and staff education, provide an ACPE-accredited continuing education lecture, present journal clubs and case discussions, and assist in precepting 4th year pharmacy clerkship students
Candidates should complete a standard application in PhORCAS

Three letters of recommendation (preferably from clinical preceptors)
