CaroMont Regional Medical Center PGY-1 Residency Program
CaroMont Regional Medical Center PGY-1
The ASHP-accredited PGY1 Pharmacy Residency at CaroMont Regional Medical Center began in 1996 and now offers two positions each residency year. During the year our residents receive training in the community hospital setting while working with experienced preceptors who mentor the residents and challenge the residents to achieve their individual professional goals. The purpose of the CRMC PGY1 Pharmacy Residency Program is to build on Doctor of Pharmacy (Pharm.D.) education and outcomes to contribute to the development of clinical pharmacists responsible for medication-related care of patients with a wide range of conditions, eligible for board certification, and eligible for postgraduate year two (PGY2) pharmacy residency training.
