The Clinical Social Worker 1 will be utilized to support the providers and teams to enhance care management of the clinic patients. The Clinical Social Worker 1 will attend to administrative business functions for the Intensive Outpatient, Neuropsychological testing, and other services, including insurance authorizations, appointment scheduling, and other duties as assigned.
The Clinical Social Worker 1 will understand the whole process with linkages between the Clinics, wherever there is an IOP, and the Revenue Cycle , Call center and UR teams. This position will represent both Hillcrest and La Jolla locations.
Case Management assignments and other duties as assigned will be added from multiple programs as needed, including, but not limited to, the geriatric program and addiction specialties.
A Master's degree from an accredited school of social work or related field.
Must possess the knowledge and abilities essential to the successful performance of the duties assigned to the position.
Experience with Geriatric patients and Mental Health conditions.
Knowledge of the local SD County resources for mental health and geriatric needs.
Employment is subject to a criminal background check and pre-employment physical.
Must be able to work various hours and locations based on business needs.
Coverage will be any outpatient psychiatry setting as requested with main locations at La Jolla and Hillcrest clinics.
