AdventHealth Orlando is a 1368-bed acute-care hospital located in Orlando, Florida. It serves as AdventHealth's main campus and was founded in 1908.
The PGY-1 Pharmacy Residency program at AdventHealth Orlando, formerly Florida Hospital Orlando, has been in existence for more than 30 years. During this 12-month program, the resident's focus will be on professional development while having full exposure to a spectrum of diverse patient populations.
PGY-1 pharmacy residency programs build on Doctor of Pharmacy (PharmD) education and outcomes to contribute to the development of clinical pharmacists responsible for medication-related care of patients with a wide range of conditions. Completion of the PGY-1 Pharmacy Residency program at AdventHealth Orlando would provide eligibility for board certification and PGY-2 pharmacy residency training.
