Topeka Pharmacy is located in rural Topeka, Indiana. The population is over 50% Amish, with little access to transportation. As the only pharmacy for roughly 10 square miles, Topeka Pharmacy provides a wide range of unique clinical services for the underserved community. The Topeka Pharmacy/Purdue University Community-Based Residency is a PGY1 training opportunity for pharmacists passionate about expanding clinical services in community pharmacy. The program is designed to build leaders who are confident in performing community pharmacy operations, teaching in the community and academic settings, and knowledgeable in ambulatory care.
