Approximate Stipend: $51,000 per year

Graduate of an ACPE-accredited school or college of pharmacy, eligible for licensure in Oregon by the beginning of October (ideally September 1st), participation in The Match, application via PhORCAS, including three letters of recommendation with comments for at least 5 of the characteristics evaluated and a recent photo of yourself uploaded as a supplemental document. We cannot provide Visa support. What we will look for in our applicants: be a good listener (and reflective about constructive criticism), be an effective questioner (especially of preceptors to enhance your learning) and be articulate (able to "sell" your recommendations to providers).
Need to know: you must pass a background check with a drug screen between Match & hiring date. You have Oregon Intern license before starting and an Oregon Pharmacist license by 9/30.
About Salem Health PGY1 Pharmacy Residency
Salem Health is a level II trauma center in the Mid-Willamette Valley in western Oregon. Our pharmacy services include decentralized pharmacists who staff in ICU, ED, OR, NICU, oncology, and the post-operative floors. Many of these decentralized pharmacists participate in daily multi-disciplinary rounding with providers. Salem is central to many activities around the state of Oregon.
