Description: The Sutter Health PGY-2 health system pharmacy administration and leadership residency builds upon PGY1 residency graduates’ competence in the delivery of patient-centered care and in pharmacy operational services to prepare residents for future supervisory, managerial, and leadership responsibilities. Areas of competence emphasized during the program include safe and effective medication-use systems, quality assurance, the management of human and financial resources, use of technology, and advanced leadership. Upon graduation residents are prepared for a clinical or operational supervisory/management role in a variety of work settings including small to mid-size hospitals, large health systems, health plans, and pharmacy benefit management organizations. The PGY2 Residency Program at Sutter Health is accredited by the American Society of Health-System Pharmacists. Benefit/Salary:

Requirements: Graduation from an accredited school of pharmacy and successful completion of an ASHP Accredited PGY1 Pharmacy Residency. All candidates must participate in the ASHP Pharmacy Residency Match program and application process in the PhORCAS system. |
