Residency Special Features: This program emphasizes the application of patient care and enhancing leadership and practice management skills to become a leader in the profession of pharmacy. Training experiences are available in general medicine, surgery, critical care, infectious disease, emergency medicine, ambulatory oncology/infusion center, internal medicine, ambulatory care clinic, pharmacy administration, and pharmacy informatics. Residents complete ACLS (PALS is optional). Residents present formal lectures/inservices throughout the year and have the opportunity to serve as a preceptor for pharmacy clerkships. The residents participate in a Teaching Certificate program offered by the University of Montana Skaggs School of Pharmacy.

Bozeman Health Deaconess Hospital (BHDH) is accredited by DNV- GL and has received numerous service quality and patient safety awards. We operate a Level III Verified Trauma Center, accredited Stroke Ready facility and we have an Interventional Cardiac/ Vascular Catheterization lab. BHDH provides comprehensive primary and specialty care ambulatory services representing more than 35 specialties, and has received Level III Medical Home Recognition. The Cancer Center is a network member of the Seattle Cancer Care Alliance.
