CHRISTUS St. Michael Health System is a network of facilities, caring for the community of the Ark-La-Tex region. The primary acute care hospital was established originally in 1916 and has a long-standing history of excellence and community service and charity, as evidenced by the hospital's many accolades. Its modern 128-acre scenic wooded campus is home to the pharmacy residency program, students from various disciplines, and an emergency department that receives over 60,000 patient visits per year. CHRISTUS St. Michael Health System as a whole provides a broad spectrum of health care services and learning opportunities.
