Summary of Duties: Washington State University College of Pharmacy and Pharmaceutical Sciences is seeking to hire a Clinical Assistant Professor in the Department of Pharmacotherapy. This full-time, annual, non-tenure, career track, 12-month appointment is located at Washington State University in Spokane, Washington. Position responsibilities include maintenance of innovative clinical practice in Addiction Medicine/ Pain Management/Psychiatry, development of a program of scholarship, supervision of pharmacy students and residents during clinical rotations, and didactic instruction. The clinical site for this position is the Mann-Grandstaff VA Medical Center in Spokane.
The appointment is a one-year renewable appointment beginning July 1, 2020. Individuals with a strong commitment to an academic career and an interest in innovative practice sites are encouraged to apply. The faculty member will be expected to contribute scholarly work in their area of clinical expertise and support the college through participation in service-related activities according to the College's Promotion Guidelines.
Required Qualifications: Candidates must possess a PharmD and have residency, post-graduate year one (PGY1) with a post-graduate year two (PGY2) in Addiction or Psychiatry. Eligibility for Washington pharmacist licensure is also required.
