Our pediatric specialists in the Maxine Dunitz Children's Health Center (CHC) provide a full range of expert care whose specialties include pediatric endocrinology, gastroenterology, infectious diseases, nephrology, neurology and surgery.
As a Registered Nurse in the CHC you will work with all Pediatric specialty providers who see their patients in this clinic. You will also
plan and coordinate all aspects of care for Pediatric patients, with a focus on Neurology care, from initial referral to follow-up care.
assist the Providers in the coordination of the interdisciplinary team, including physicians, nurses, social workers, dietitians, pharmacists, and support staff.
work in conjunction with the pediatric providers to develop, coordinate, implement and evaluate educational programs, projects for patients, co-workers and the community.
assess, monitor and provide nursing care to patients throughout the clinic visit, serving as a patient advocate throughout the patient care process.
support other nurses in the CHC and cover additional clinical specialties when other CHC RNs are absent.
participate in the rotation of required clinic safety and regulatory checks and perform the intake of clinic patients.
