The Abington Hospital – Jefferson Health (AHJH) PGY-1 pharmacy residency program builds on Doctor of Pharmacy (Pharm.D.) education and outcomes to contribute to the development of clinical pharmacists responsible for medication-related care of patients with a wide range of conditions, eligible for board certification, and eligible for postgraduate year two (PGY2) pharmacy residency training. AHJH is a community teaching hospital providing an innovative residency training program established on a foundation and culture of patient and medication safety.
Medication-Related Patient Care:
Assure safe, effective, and appropriate drug therapy through the prevention, identification, and resolution of drug-related problems.
