Redmond Regional Medical Center’s PGY1 Pharmacy Residency Program is designed to develop highly qualified independent practitioners who are able to provide outstanding pharmaceutical care. Pharmacists completing Redmond’s program will receive well-rounded training and experience in a variety of pharmacy practice areas including internal medicine, cardiology, critical care, emergency medicine, infectious diseases and more. Redmond's program also offers an integrated practice experience with certified ACGME Internal Medicine and Transitional year medical residencies. Our strong physician-pharmacist relationships are essential to providing the highest level of patient-centered care. Residents will deliver formal presentations, conduct an original research project, and help precept students from Mercer University, The University of Georgia, and Philadelphia College of Osteopathic Medicine Schools of Pharmacy. This program is dedicated to developing competent pharmacy clinicians and leaders by promoting confidence, leadership and advanced professional skills in pharmaceutical care.
