To build upon the Doctor of Pharmacy education to develop community-based pharmacist practitioners with diverse patient care, leadership, and education skills who are practice-ready for advanced practice opportunities including postgraduate year two (PGY2) residencies and professional certifications.
This program will include exposure to disease prevention, adherence, and consultant pharmacy services, pharmacist-managed clinics, compounding and independent pharmacy ownership. Residents will be appointed as assistant instructors and assist in the delivery of school of pharmacy curriculum including didactic and laboratory courses.
Applicants must submit a letter of interest, three letters of recommendation, curriculum vitae, official transcripts for pharmacy education, and a completed application form. All materials should be submitted through PhORCAS at https://portal.phorcas.org/.

The pharmacy residency program is affiliated with Texas Tech University Health Sciences Center (TTUHSC) Jerry H. Hodge School of Pharmacy with residents receiving an appointment as Assistant Clinical Instructors. The residency training programs at TTUHSC School of Pharmacy are designed to produce practitioners who exhibit excellence in the provision of patient care.
