The Covenant Joe Arrington Cancer Center in partnership with the Texas Tech University Health Sciences Center is seeking applicants for the position of Academic Gynecologic Oncology Surgeon. Applicants must be BE/BC in OBGYN; fellowship training in Gynecology/Oncology is required. The candidate should have exemplary clinical skills, a team spirit, collegiality and an interest in teaching and/or clinically based scholarly activity. Faculty rank will be commensurate with training and experience.
About Joe Arrington Cancer Center JACC opened in 1995 and is named in honor of Dr. Joe O. Arrington, Jr., a long-time Lubbock physician whose level of caring for patients and their families was truly inspirational. JACC has grown to more than 60,000 square feet of clinical space and more than 22,000 square feet of supporting office space in the Medical Office Building, all in a convenient location in central Lubbock with ample parking.
JACC is excited to partner with Texas Tech to build on existing strengths and create a brand-new division focused on women’s cancer care, consisting of cancer specialists from many different fields. Together we will provide the latest in evidence-based care and access to cutting edge clinical trials, while enhancing our research and education mission.
