As a Magellan Rx Resident, you are involved in P&T committee, formulary management, benefit design, specialty pharmacy management, MTM services, transitions of care, student precepting, and participate in projects and clinical studies for presentation at various educational conferences. Additionally, we have partnered with Yale Health in Connecticut to place you into their integrated health system for ~10 weeks of your residency where you will learn about Managed Care as it applies to a specialty and ambulatory care. Because of the unique Magellan + Yale collaboration, you will truly be able to experience Managed Care from A-to-Z; from formulary management all the way down to the provider and patient levels.

-Application, including CV and 3 Letters of Recommendation through the PHORCAS system submitted by deadline -Travel to Salt Lake City for onsite interview (1 hotel night paid for by Magellan for non-Utah applicants) -On-track to graduate from ACPE-Accredited PharmD program by end of Spring Semester with a minimum of a 3.0 GPA (or "PASS" if in a Pass/Fail program) -Must obtain Utah Pharmacist Licence within 90 days of starting Residency -Must obtain Connecticut Pharmacist Licence within 150 days of starting Residency -Current citizen of the United State (Magellan cannot sponsor Visas for residency programs) -Must be willing to temporarily relocate to New Haven Connecticut for ~10 weeks (travel/boarding paid for)
