The Postgraduate Year One Pharmacy Residency Program at Arkansas Children’s Hospital in collaboration with the University of Arkansas for Medical Sciences College of Pharmacy provides a structured educational training program within a pediatric institution that builds on Doctor of Pharmacy (Pharm.D.) education and outcomes to contribute to the development of clinical pharmacist responsible for medication-related care of pediatric patients with a wide range of conditions and eligible for postgraduate year two (PGY2) pharmacy residency training. The University of Arkansas College of Pharmacy has PGY1 Pharmacy residencies based at the Northwest Arkansas campus in Fayetteville, Arkansas Childern's Hospital in Little Rock and Community-Based Residencies in the Little Rock area and Northwest Arkansas. In addition, the College has PGY2 residencies Geriatric Pharmacy and Ambulatory Care along with a Pediatric Infectious Diseases/Antimicrobial Stewardship Fellowship.
