The mission of the pharmacy residency program is to support the resident's development toward achieving the skills necessary to provide quality, compassionate and cost-effective pharmaceutical patient care and the ability to provide leadership on medication use and drug policy. Residents will not only focus on achieving their personal career goals but will continue to move the profession forward.
The pharmacy residency program at St. Joseph's is dedicated to achieving a vision where all residency graduates will have completed a diverse array of clinical, administrative and educational experiences that will position them to pursue advanced training and/or practice in an acute care setting. Graduates of the program will be able to provide competent care with a sense of confidence. Graduates shall gain the necessary skills and a solid foundation from which they can continue to grow and become outstanding pharmacists and leaders.
Graduate of a college of pharmacy accredited by the American Council on Pharmaceutical Education required. Pharm D degree.
