Family Pharmaceutical Services at Kaleida Health Community-based Pharmacy Residency (PGY1)
Family Pharmaceutical Services is a small chain of community pharmacies owned by Kaleida Health. The main practice location for this residency is High Street Prescription Center, which operates inside Buffalo General Medical Center. BGMC is our health system’s largest teaching hospital. Our outpatient pharmacy supports inpatient hospital staff through the transitions of care process. We also support the many outpatient clinics as well as our home health nursing agency.
The purpose of our Community Pharmacy Residency Program is to build upon the Doctor of Pharmacy education to develop community-based pharmacist practitioners with diverse patient care, leadership and education skills.
