The Department of Obstetrics and Gynecology at the David Geffen School of Medicine at UCLA and the Los Angeles County/Olive View-UCLA Medical Center seeks to recruit an outstanding, academic, and dynamic Gynecologic Oncologist at the Assistant, Associate, or Professor level, who will promote high quality patient care delivery, excellence in medical education, and clinical or health services research. This position will be in the Health Sciences Clinical Professor series. The position includes 50% effort at both, the university and county hospital systems.
This is an excellent opportunity to join a well-established division and department. The division is an active member of the NRG/Gynecologic Oncology Group and has an ACGME approved fellowship in gynecologic oncology. Candidates will be expected to develop and participate in an active research program with clinical investigation. The competitive candidate should have excellent teaching skills. The position includes direct patient care in the outpatient and inpatient setting, interaction with trainees at all levels, and shared on-call duties with UCLA and Olive View faculty. The position also includes some outpatient clinical outreach responsibilities with the UCLA Health System in the greater Los Angeles area. The applicant's academic pursuits and career growth are important and both sites have numerous translational research, health services, and educational opportunities.
Appointment requires completion of an accredited Gynecologic Oncology Fellowship, board certification / eligibility by the American Board of Obstetrics & Gynecology, and board certification / eligibility in Gynecologic Oncology. Rank and salary will be commensurate with experience, credentials and prior accomplishments.
