This Clinical Social Worker, Community Based Acute Treatment Program (CBAT) will be responsible for:
Providing diagnostic assessment in collaboration with Medical Director for patients in a twelve-bed Community Based Acute Treatment program for youth ages 8-18 with complex presentations.
Coordinating clinical care with a multidisciplinary team.
Applying evidenced based interventions and social work theory when conducting individual therapy, family therapy, coordination with collateral contacts, and organization of complex systems meetings.
Creating and implementing admission notes, progress notes, and discharge summaries.
Supervising two CBAT staff social workers to provide comprehensive clinical care.
Providing coverage for CBAT staff social workers.
On-call duties shared with team clinicians.
To qualify, you must have:
A Master's Degree in Social Work. LICSW licensure in Massachusetts.
A minimum of 2 years plus social work experience is required. Previous supervisory experience highly preferred.
Experience in a mental health inpatient or acute setting working with children, adolescents and families is ideal.
The ability to work independently as well as within an interdisciplinary team model.
This position is based in Waltham, MA.
