The Staff Pharmacist will provide pharmacy services at the Veterinary Medical Center. These services include but are not limited to the following: providing customer support to clients, faculty, residents, interns, staff and students; assisting with inventory management; dispensing prescriptions and maintaining records in accordance with Ohio State Board of Pharmacy regulations; assisting in the management of the automated dispensing cabinets (Cubex); updating pricing and drug information in the hospital information system when warranted; assisting in non-sterile, sterile and hazardous compounding duties with pharmacy technicians; providing drug information to Veterinary Medical Center and clients; and other duties as assigned by the Pharmacy Manager. This is a full-time position with fixed hours Monday through Friday and rotating Saturday mornings, holidays and on-call duties.

Physical Requirements: Pushing/pulling/lifting up to 50 pounds, exposure to animal dander and/or zoonotic diseases. Requires weekend, nights, and/or holiday hours.
Doctorate or an equivalent combination of education and experience; Registered Pharmacist in State of Ohio or ability to reciprocate license.
