The Ernest Mario School of Pharmacy at Rutgers, The State University of New Jersey invites applications for a full-time, non-tenure track faculty position. The faculty member will hold a clinical appointment at Hackensack University Medical Center in Pediatrics.

Minimum Education and Experience:
Applicants must have a Doctor of Pharmacy degree and must have completed at least two years of residency training or equivalent experience. Applicants must be licensed or eligible for licensure in the state of New Jersey. Board Certification in Pharmacotherapy by the Board of Pharmacy Specialties (BCPS), or other relevant board certification, is expected within two years of hire.
Required Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities:
This position is for a Clinical Assistant Professor with a specialty in Pediatrics. The Pediatric Faculty member would work with the Hackensack University Medical Center clinical pharmacists and medical staff to optimize the care of pediatric patients in the pediatric hematology/oncology/ bone marrow transplant service and the pediatric intensive care unit. The Faculty member would have an active role on the Pharmacy and Therapeutics committee and other committees related to practice area. This role would also be involved in the education of medical, nursing and pharmacy staff (including pharmacy residents), in special projects, medication guideline and order set development, etc. Excellent communication skills are required.
