The Advocating Success for Kids (ASK) program is a specialty service Boston Children's Hospital Primary Care @ Longwood. The ASK team includes developmental-behavioral pediatricians, psychologists, social workers, and educators who work to address the developmental, learning, and/or behavioral needs of children seen at several community health centers.
This Clinical Social Worker - ASK program will be responsible for:
Providing assessment, treatment, and advocacy for a diverse group of children and adolescents.
Collaborating with families and school systems to advocate for appropriate services through attendance at IEP or other school related meetings, case management and crisis intervention as needed.
To qualify, you must have:
Master's Degree and Licensure in Clinical Social Work (LCSW or LICSW).
Experience working with children and families.
Ability to work in a fast pace setting, managing tasks in a timely manner.
Enthusiasm, optimism, and self-motivation.
