Sylvester Comprehensive Cancer Center at the University of Miami Hospital and Clinics is seeking 2 Board Eligible/Board Certified gynecologic oncologists at the Assistant or Associate Professor rank to join our division of 4 board certified gynecologic oncologists, a benign gynecologist, and a PhD Researcher, 4 faculty nurse-clinicians, and 4 fellows in sub-specialty training. The positions are available immediately.
These positions will involve clinical work at our main academic campus at the University of Miami, Jackson Memorial Hospital, and surrounding community practice sites. The Division prides itself on being an academic, evidence based clinical practice. There’s ample opportunity for clinical and translational research, and for the teaching of medical students, residents and fellows, and mentorship opportunities from senior faculty members.
Sylvester Comprehensive Cancer Center is the only university-based cancer center in South Florida.
Completion of a 4-year ACGME residency in Obstetrics & Gynecology and an ABOG/ACGME approved fellowship in Gynecologic Oncology are required. Teaching of medical students, residents, and fellows will be expected, as will participating in the Division’s research efforts.
