Provide instruction for the morning or afternoon Pharmacy Technician classes in Bryan, TX. Classes are to meet either twice or three times per week, depending on instructor availability.
Essential Duties :
Provide lecture and hands-on instruction of the Pharmacy Technician curriculum.
Cover all course competencies in instruction.
Provide skills training in a Pharmacy lab environment.
Grade, administer, and facilitate quizzes, exams, hands-on practicums or other tools used to evaluate student progress.
Manage classroom activities by enforcing standards, rules and regulations.
Promote a culture of customer service through words and actions.
Recruit students and maintain active student enrollment through quality classroom instruction and student communication.
Provide feedback to the Program Manager on course progress, suggested improvements, or problems that may impact program quality or stability.
Performs other related tasks as assigned.
Minimum Required Knowledge, Skills and Abilities:
Must hold a Pharmacy Technician certificate or a Pharmacist license.
Three years’ experience as a working pharmacy technician or pharmacist.
Demonstrated proficiency in English; Written, math, and verbal skills.
Must be high school graduate or have G.E.D.
Experience teaching students in a classroom setting.
Currently working as a Pharmacy Technician or as a licensed Pharmacist.
Associates degree or higher preferred
Salary Range: $30 per hour
