DUTIES: Under the direct supervision of a pharmacist, the Staff Assistant will perform, but is not limited to the following: - Process charges and generate computer shelf labels for inventory management. - Assist in managing proper profiling for the patient. - Maintain prescription files. - Obtain and process prior approvals for prescription transactions. - Reconcile insurance payments against billing procedures. (DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES ARE NOT LIMITED TO THE ABOVE POSITION DESCRIPTION) QUALIFICATIONS: - Associate's Degree preferred or certification as a Pharmacy Technician or certification as a Pharmacy Technician within one (1) year of beginning employment. - Two to three (2-3) years of experience as a Pharmacy Technician preferred.
