The UCSF School of Pharmacy, Department of Clinical Pharmacy, is seeking a full-time faculty member at the Assistant Professor rank in the area of Clinical Pharmacy and Pharmaceutical Sciences. The UCSF School of Pharmacy has been the national leader in NIH research funding for 38 consecutive years, and is widely recognized for innovation in pharmacy practice and education. The faculty member will participate in research, teaching, clinical care, and service activities.
The successful candidate will hold an advanced degree of PhD in Pharmaceutical Sciences or a related field. The candidate must hold a PharmD or equivalent and be licensed in California as a pharmacist. We seek applicants with expertise in pharmacogenomics, particularly focusing in the field of cardiology. Applicants with fellowship training and a track record of publications and external grant funding are strongly preferred.
