This Per Diem - Clinical Social Worker will be responsible for:
Providing a spectrum of social work services to patients and families to cover gaps in social work services due expected or unexpected openings in social work programming.
Crisis intervention, psychosocial assessment, trauma and bereavement counseling, child protection evaluation and management, psychosocial consultation to medical team and after care planning.
To qualify, you must have:
Master's degree in Social Work. Licensed state of MA, LICSW preferred.
Medical Social Work experience highly preferred.
Flexibility to cover weekday shifts is ideal.
Analytical skills to collect information from diverse sources, apply professional principles in performing various analyses, and summarize the information and data in order to solve problems OR design relatively complex systems and programs.
Communication skills in order to effectively deal with conflicting views or issues and mediate fair solutions, and well developed writing skills.
This position will help supplement social work coverage needed on weekday shifts.
