We are looking for a detail-oriented, focused, caring, and thoughtful individual to provide excellent care to our patients.Job duties include, but are not limited to, the following:
Perform order entry of prescriptions into the ambulatory pharmacy computer system.
Triage incoming phone calls to the pharmacy department.
Assist with online processing of prescription orders.
Assist patients with new prescriptions and refills.
Determine payment method.
Interact with professional and technical staff as well as customers in a friendly and courteous manner.
Perform charging and billing functions.
Assist in the training of pharmacy assistants, technicians, students, and interns.
Direct clinical inquiries requiring a Pharmacist's professional judgment.
Receive medications delivered to the pharmacy and put them on the shelf.
Perform other duties as assigned.Requirements:
State of Washington Pharmacy Technician license.
Minimum of Six months experience in retail pharmacy.
Ability to fill medication orders accurately and efficiently
Ability to assist customers in filling prescriptions and assisting with online orders
Ability to accurately maintain inventory of pharmaceuticals and supplies.
