L.A. Care Health Plan Managed Care Pharmacy Residency Program is designed to develop advanced skills in various pharmacy practice settings. The Managed Care Residency Program gives in-depth experiences in areas such as formulary management and benefit design, prior authorization development and appeals, drug utilization management and pharmacy operations. The resident also participates in Pharmacy and Therapeutics Committee meetings, precepts pharmacy school students, and travels to state association meetings.
Application in PhORCAS (letter of intent, curriculum vitae, three letters of recommendation, school transcript), California pharmacist license (or eligible), and on-site interview
