Huntington Hospital PGY-1 Pharmacy Residency Program is committed to providing residents with a learning and training environment designed to advance the practice of postgraduate pharmacists as members of interdisciplinary health care teams that promote the importance of caring for a diverse patient population.
The ASHP-accredited Pharmacy Residency at Huntington Hospital has consistently played an integral role in the promotion of pharmacy services, expansion of clinical programs, and interdisciplinary collaboration within the Northwell Health System and Huntington Hospital community.
During the 12-month program, the PGY-1 Pharmacy Resident will build on their Doctor of Pharmacy education to contribute to the development of clinical pharmacists responsible for medication-related care with a wide range of conditions.
Rotations will be tailored to the resident’s field of interest and ASHP requirements.
