PGY1 Program Purpose: The postgraduate year one (PGY1) pharmacy residency program at Sacred Heart Hospital builds upon the Doctor of Pharmacy (Pharm.D.) education and outcomes to contribute to the development of clinical pharmacists responsible for medication related care of patients with a wide range of conditions, eligible for board certification, and eligible for postgraduate year two (PGY2) pharmacy residency training.

Prospective candidates must hold or anticipate graduation with a Doctor of Pharmacy degree, acquire licensure in the state of Florida, and be committed to fulfilling all the requirements of the program
