Lehigh Valley Health Network (LVHN) offers a postgraduate year one (PGY1) pharmacy residency program accredited by the American Society of Health-System Pharmacists (ASHP). The 12-month training experience will provide the resident with the opportunity to further develop clinical and leadership skills and explore the many facets of hospital pharmacy practice. The program is flexible, ensuring your particular areas of interest are incorporated into the experience.
PGY1 residents will join the LVHN Pharmacy Department which has over 180 employees including Clinical Staff Pharmacists, Clinical Pharmacy Specialists, Pharmacy Technicians, Inventory Coordinators, and a Pharmacy Systems Technician and provides advanced pharmaceutical care.
Applicants must possess or anticipate a Pharm.D. or equivalent experience (from an ACPE-accredited school or college)
Must be licensed or be eligible for licensure in the Commonwealth of Pennsylvania
Expected completion of 500 externship hours (deemed acceptable by the Pennsylvania State Board of Pharmacy) by May 1 prior to the start of the respective residency year
