PGY2 Critical Care Pharmacy Residency As a resident at Lucile Packard Children’s Hospital Stanford you’ll further your professional competence, expand your clinical knowledge and develop a philosophy of pharmacy practice in a facility that’s committed to providing an exceptional health care experience to its patients. Nationally ranked and internationally recognized, with 397 licensed beds and more than 13,000 inpatient admissions each year, we offer a challenging, diverse caseload to our residents. Our six centers of excellence provide comprehensive services and deep expertise in key obstetric and pediatric areas: brain & behavior, cancer, heart, pregnancy & newborn, pulmonary and transplant. This residency provides a unique opportunity to focus on providing care for critically ill pediatric patients. You’ll also have the change to explore your areas of interest through our on-and off-site electives. In addition to clinical services, residents gain operational and management experience throughout the year and participate in teaching activities with students and PGY1 pharmacy residents.
Stipend and Benefits Residents receive a competitive annual stipend of approximately $88,000 with full benefits and 10 days of paid time off (PTO). In addition, residents receive educational leave and funding to attend and participate in clinical presentations at a minimum of 2 conferences which may include:
