Residency Special Features: Hillcrest Medical Center residency will guide students through a comprehensive training program that includes cardiology, infectious disease, oncology, neonatology, critical care, general acute care, and drug information. Residents will round with medical teams and on individual physician rounds, present formal and informal education sessions to a variety of audiences, participate in quality improvement and pharmacoeconomic projects. This residency is designed to develop the pharmacist to function in complex clinical and administrative situations.

Site Special Features: Hillcrest Medical Center is a large (620 bed) metropolitan teaching hospital that includes the Oklahoma Heart Hospital, Alexander Burn Unit, and Peggy Helmerich Women's Health Center. A broad spectrum of teaching is performed at Hillcrest encompassing pharmacy, nursing, dietician, radiology, and physician programs. Tulsa is a vibrant community in northeastern Oklahoma with easy access to over 100 miles of jogging/bike trails, lakes, museums, and sporting events.
