The purpose of Providence St. Peter Family Medicine residency program is to train pharmacists who specialize in provision of primary care services within an interdisciplinary team while advancing patient-centered care through quality improvement, practice based leadership and education of the health care team.
Preceptors emphasize independence and growth in all learning experiences. By fostering ownership of clinical tasks, educational endeavors, and project management, we aim to graduate pharmacists who are prepared to thrive as an independent ambulatory care pharmacist.
