The Pharmacy Inventory Billing Specialist, Clinic Inspector, is responsible for coordinating medication inventory between CMC Pharmacy and hospital departments and hospital-based clinics. Coordinates ordering, supplying, inventory and inspection of designated sites. Responsible for rotating stock among sites and handling cost transfers and billing. Asssist in developing appropriate inventory list for each site. Responsible for coordinating requests from sites for non-formulary items. Coordinates with a member of Charge Master Team to maintain current Patient Medication Charge Sheet. Assists with regulatory compliance as directed by Pharmacist-in-charge and documents appropriately.

Three years of business, healthcare, and/or pharmacy related experience preferred.
Licensure, certification, and/or registration:
Licensed Pharmacy Technician in the Commonwealth of Virginia required and Certified Pharmacy Technician required.
Effective communication skills and problem solving abilities required. Must be self-initiated, organized and logic oriented. Must be capable of prioritizing multiple projects and meeting deadlines. Must have computer and keyboard skills. Intermediate word processing, spreadsheet, and database skills required.
Qualifications: Must be able to work flexible hours including overtime and weekends when/if needed. Ability to be familiar (including strengths, dosage forms, and uses) with a large number (3000- 5000) of medications, and retrieve similar information utilizing the pharmacy related technologies. An attention to detail and accuracy. Must be able to solve simple mathematical and logistical problems in the work environment. Must be able to effectively budget time, work efficiently and accurately, and follow procedures with minimum supervision.
